- Don’t look over the internet for common tattoo designs. This will be inked on your skin forever. You might want to think it through.

- Make sure you visit the parlour once and check for the hygiene there. During your visit discuss your design with the artist and be open to improvisations.
- Stay calm while you get a tattoo. Have a good sleep the previous night and most importantly, do not go there drunk. Alcohol might thin your blood and make you bleed more than usual.
